The Dukes Head specialises in hog roasts, so you can be sure that their Christmas party hog roast will be top-notch. It makes a great option for large parties of 80 or more and can be enjoyed at the pub itself or at an outside venue. The menu includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival, Christmas crackers, party hats, decorations and a disco, while the main feast features a whole pig marinated in herbs and spices then spit roasted for at least six hours. A turkey breast alternative with cranberry sauce is also available. The meat is then served in a ciabatta roll with rocket salad, homemade apple sauce, and stuffing.
